GRS Fantasy Park
GRS Fantasy park is Mysore(Mysooru)'s only Amusement cum water
park with numerous fun rides and multi purpose play
system. The Park spreads over 30 acres with many thrilling
rides offering healthy entertainment for all ages. The
main attractions are the water games, amusement rides
and the kid’s pool. GRS is located about 5 kms
from the Mysore(Mysooru) railway station. The park is open from
10:30 am to 6:00 pm on Mondays to Saturdays and up to
7:30 pm on Sundays and Public holidays. During summer
the parks open upto 7:30 pm on Saturday also. Food,
beverages are not permitted inside the park.

This holiday spot is a perfect urban hang out with bowling
alley, go-carting, billiards, games arcade, kiddie zone,

Mysore(Mysooru) Zoo or Zoological Gardens
The Mysore(Mysooru) zoo, which is one of the oldest zoo's in
the world was established in 1892 under royal patronage.
The zoo houses animals from more than 40 different countries.
It has well kept lawns and gardens. The tiger's were
the main animal bred here. There are elephants, white
peafowl, hippo's, rhino's and gorilla. It is open on
all days except Tuesdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The zoo also encompasses Karanji Lake, which attracts
several species of migratory birds during the breeding
season including painted storks, pelicans and darters.
Other attractions include the Zoological Garden with
35 species of exotic ornamental plants and 85 species
of trees from India and abroad.
Brindavan Garden
Brindavan garden is situated at Krishnaraja Sagar Road,
12 Km northwest of Mysore(Mysooru). Apart from the different
types of plants, the garden is decorated by spectacular
fountains and ornamental pools. The main attraction
is the 'dancing musical fountains'. A small lake for
boating enhances its recreational charm. The garden
is fully illuminated during the night.
Brindavan Garden is open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00
p.m., but the fountain show is there only in spring.
